POST # 63 - FRANK FRAZETTA, The Living Legend

Welcome!

I am

THE APOCOLYTE!

I am here to celebrate with you some of the most extraordinary
black and white artwork you will ever see!

Today we are honoring the fantastic Frank Frazetta
the greatest fantasy artist in the second half of the 20th century.

While it is a known fact that Frazetta was recognized as the premiere fantasy painter of his time, it is my pleasure to present to you today several beautiful black and white pen and brush line artworks that prove he was capable and talented as an illustrator in whatever medium he chose to utilize. Featuring a variety of fantasy subjects from Frazetta's illustration libray, such as Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan, John Carter, David Innes and Pellucidar, At The Earth's Core, J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of The Rings, Buck Rogers, Kubla Khan, prehistoric cave people and warrior women, these images were originally published in Frazetta's (ironically titled, now) volume,

FRANK FRAZETTA, The Living Legend.
